Building a Carpool Application for Axxes
During my studies I took part in a unique course called "Project 4.0", where IT students worked together on projects for real clients. In collaboration with Axxes, I developed a carpool application. Here I share my experiences and responsibilities in this project.
The Project:
The goal was to build a user-friendly application that helps colleagues organise carpools. This project came with a technological challenge, but also offered the chance to create a practical and environmentally friendly solution.
My Contribution:
My focus was mainly on developing the frontend of the application. This included designing and implementing an intuitive layout, optimising the user experience, and ensuring a responsive design that works well on both desktop and mobile devices.
Challenges:
One of the biggest challenges was balancing client requirements against technical constraints. It was also essential to guarantee a consistent and attractive design, despite tight deadlines and teamwork across different specialisations.

Results:
The end result was a functional and visually appealing carpool application that satisfied both Axxes and our team. This project improved my frontend development skills and gave me valuable insight into working on real-world IT solutions.
Conclusion:
Working on the carpool application for Axxes through Project 4.0 was a challenging and rewarding experience. It combined teamwork, technical development and creativity to deliver a product that makes a difference.
